ABOUT EXAM
KCET 2024: Karnataka Common Entrance Test commonly known as KCET is regulated by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). It is conducted for admission to the professional courses like Engineering Technology, Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharma), Diploma in Pharmacy (DPharma), Agriculture courses (Farm Science) and Veterinary courses.
KARNATAKA COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (KCET)
The Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2024 is being conducted for the purpose of determining the eligibility / merit, for admission of Karnataka candidates and the ward/s of Jammu & Kashmiri Migrants to the First Year or First Semester of full time courses for Government share of seats in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Bachelor of Yoga and Naturopathy (BNYS), Farm Science courses i.e., Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.), B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture, B.Sc.(Hons) Sericulture, B.Sc (Hons) Horticulture, B.Sc (Hons) Forestry, B.Tech.Biotechnology, B.Sc. (Hons) Community Science, B.Tech (Agri.Engg), B.Tech (Food Technology), B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.F.Sc.(Fisheries), B.Sc. Hons) Ag.Business Management, B. Pharma and Pharma-D course, in Government / University / Private Aided / Private Un-Aided Professional Educational Institutions in the State of Karnataka for the academic year 2023-24.
For admission to Medical or Dental or Ayush courses candidates have to appear for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) - 2023 conducted by CBSE.
For admission to Architechture course candidates must appear for NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by the Council of Architecture.

KEA does not verify the information provided by the candidates during online application /registration and hence candidature is purely provisional subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria of MCI / DCI / AICTE / COA / State / Universities / Institutions / Deemed Universities concerned.
Candidates have to enter the application details through online to become eligible for admission to Professional Courses through Karnataka Examinations Authority. There is no pen and paper form.
