ABOUT EXAM

MAHARASHTRA COMMON ENTRANCE TEST FOR ADMISSION TO FIRST YEAR / DIRECT SECOND YEAR (SEPARATE DIVISION & LATERAL ENTRY) OF MCA (MAH-MCA-CET) 
Government of Maharashtra has established a State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET CELL) under Admission Regulating Authority (ARA) as per the provision in Section 10 of Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015, (Herein after called the Act).    

The Competent Authority shall conduct the Online MAH-MCA-CET 2024 for admission to first year / direct second year (separate division & lateral entry) of three year full time post graduate degree course in Master of Computer Applications (MCA), for Academic Year 2024-2025

The admissions to the following institutes will be based on the score of CET, provided they are approved & recognized by Government of Maharashtra and are affiliated to any of the Non- Agricultural University in Maharashtra State.

1. All Government/ Government Aided Institutes offering MCA course
2. All University Departments offering MCA course
3. University Managed Institutes offering MCA course
4. All Un-Aided MCA Institutes covered as per the Act

IMPORTANT DATES

MAH MCA 2024 exam notification released on December 14th, 2023 on official website of MAH MCA. The MAH MCA apply online process has begun on 11 January 2024 and end up on 06 February 2024. Candidate must keep visiting EaseToLearn for regularly to stay updated about important and recent notification of MAH MCA 2024 exam.

MAH MCA CET ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Eligibility Criteria for Appearing to Online MAH-MCA-CET 2024:

Passed Graduation Degree (e.g. B.E/ B.Tech /B.Sc /B.Com /B.voc/BCA etc) preferably with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (at least 45% in case of candidates of Backward Class categories, economically weaker section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State)

(Candidates appearing for final year of qualifying examination are also eligible to appear for CET).

HOW TO APPLY MAH MCA CET APPLICATION FORM:-

In order to appear for MAH-MCA 2024, the candidates are required to apply online only.
No other mode of application will be accepted.

Candidates applying for MAH MCA CET can go through various steps as mentioned below:

• Visit the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org.
• Select 'MAH MCA CET' and click on 'New Registration’.
• Enter the basic details like name, contact details and candidate email ID.
• Fill the application form by carefully adding the requisite details.
• Now upload the photograph and signature as per specifications.
• Submit and proceed with payment of application fee in online mode.

MAH-MCA/MMS-CET 2024 EXAMINATION FEES:-

MAH MCA CET 2024 Application form processing fees is to be paid through online system only by using Credit Card/ Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/ Maestro), Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets for which the service charges, as per rules, shall be applicable in addition to the application form processing fees. No other mode of payment shall be permitted. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. 

MAH MCA CET 2024 EXAMINATION CENTRES:-

MAH-MCA CET 2024 will be conducted in the selected cities in Maharashtra & outside Maharashtra State. The cities in which MAH-MCA CET 2024 will be conducted are designated as "Centre" for the CET
the cities in which CET-2024 is conducted are designated as centre for the CET. Each centre will have several venues depending upon the number of candidate due to appear at that centre. A candidate applying for the CET would have the freedom to choose his/her centre but shall not have freedom to choose the venue.

As per the MAH MCA CET 2024 schedule, Candidates will have to visit the https://cetcell.mahacet.org/ website for downloading MAH MCA CET 2024 Hall Ticket or Admit Card for online test. Intimation for downloading Hall Ticket will also be sent through email/SMS. Once the candidate clicks the relevant link, he/she can access the window for Hall Ticket download.
