ABOUT EXAM

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is managed by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) for the senior administrative posts in the state, and for the Assistant Conservator of Forest/Range forest officer posts.

Candidates applying for Assistant Conservator of Forest/Range Forest Officer Examination 2024, should required to visit in the Combined State/ Upper Sub-ordinate services examination and qualify for the same to the second stage of Ass. Conservator of Forest officer services Main Examination.     

Exam Date 2024 was released in the exam calendar for the PCS Prelims and Mains exams.

Important Date

Candidates can apply for the PCS posts of SDM, BDO, DSP, Assistant Commissioner, and similar gazetted officers.

Candidates who want to apply for Ass. Conservator of Forest as well as for Combine State services Examination can also apply through a common online application portal to meet the required eligibility criteria.

UPPSC VACANCY 2024

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has notified the UPPSC vacancy 2024 in the notification. A total of 220 vacancies have been announced this year which is more than the initial vacancies released by the UP commission last year. Here is the table given below to know about the UPPSC vacancy.

UPPSC Eligibility:

The participating candidates must possess all the required qualification condition before submitting the application.

• Marital Status:  The male candidates who are married or have more than one wife living, and female candidates who have married a person already have a wife will not be eligible unless the Honble.
• Education Qualification: The participating candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University XCor equivalent qualification standard.

The participating students must have a specific bachelor degree depending upon the job.

• Sub Registrar, Assistant Prosecuting Officer :  Graduation in Law
• Distric Basik Shikha Adhikari/ Associate DIOS : Bachelor’s Degree
• District Administrative Office : Post Graduate Degree
• District Audit Officer : Graduation(Commerce)
• Ass. Controller Legal Measurement : Bachelor’s Degree in Science
• Measurement (Grade-2) : Degree in Science with Physic or Mechanical Engineering.
• Assistant Labour Commissioner : Degree in Arts with Sociology or Economics as a main subject
• District Programme Officer : Degree in Sociology or Social Science
• Senior Lecturer, DIET : PG Degree with B.Ed
• District Probation Office : Post Graduate Degree
• Child Development Project Officer: Graduate Degree in Sociology or Social Work.
• Designated Officer or Food Safety Officer : PG-Degree (Chemistry) or Bachelor’s Degree
• District Cane Officer/ UP Agriculture Service :  PG Degree – Chemistry
• Labour Enforcement Officer : Bachelor’s Degree or PG Diploma/ Degree
• Principals/ Government Intermediate Colleges : PG, LT-Diploma or B.T or B.Ed
• Assistant Research Officer : PG – Chemistry
• Assistant Director ( Horticulture ) : Graduation (Agriculture)
• Manager (Administration/General) : M.B.A or Equivalent Degree
• Assistant Store Purchase Officer : M.B.A
• Technical Assistant(Chemistry) : PG(Chemistry)

For ACF/ RFO:

• Assistant Conservator of Forest : Bachelors Degree (Relevant Courses)
• Range Forest Officer (RFO) : Bachelor’s Degree (Relevant Course)

AGE Limit:

Participating candidates must have attained the age 21 years and must not have crossed the age of 40 years on 1^st of July, 2024

UPPSC PCS Educational Qualification:-

UPPSC educational qualification is the minimum education requirement to apply for the Combined State Service exam 2024. A candidate has to be at least a graduate or equivalent from a recognized university in any discipline to apply for the PCS exam. Candidates with B. Tech/B. E. are also eligible to apply for it.

Planning For UPPSC- PCS Examination:

The UPPSC-PCS Examination comprises of three stages:

1. UPPSC-PCS : Preliminary Examination
2. UPPSC-PCS : Main Examination
3. UPPSC-PCS : Viva – Voce (Personality Test)

Preliminary Examination: The examination will consist two compulsory papers (objective type papers) of which answer sheet will be the OMR sheets. The preliminary exam will be of 200 marks each which will contain 100-150 question respectively.

UPPSC Main Written Examination: This will come for the students who have been short-listed through UPPSC preliminary examination. The paper will consist both subjective, written and objective question containing:

1. Essay writing : 150 marks
2. General Hindi : 150 marks
3. General Studies(First Paper) : 200 marks
4. General Studies(Second Paper) : 200 marks
5. General Studies(Third Paper) : 200 marks
6. General Studies(Fourth Paper) : 200 marks

The participating candidates must have to select any subject from the list of optional subjects.

UPPSC – Compulsory Subjects: General Hindi, Essay, and General Studies (First, Second, Third, and Fourth papers)

UPPSC Viva – Voce: This test will relate to the matters of general interests, academic interests, general awareness, intelligence, character, expression, personality for the service.
