ABOUT EXAM

The RPF (Railway Protection Force) Sub Inspector (SI) Exam 2024 is set to recruit candidates for the position of Sub-Inspector in the Railway Protection Force and Railway Protection Special Force. Railway Police Force Examination is a national level Exam. The RPF SI Exam 2024 aims to recruit candidates for 452 Sub Inspector (SI) vacancies. Aspiring candidates should start their preparation using resources like previous year’s question papers and recommended books.

The RPF SI has released the complete schedule regarding the RPF SI Recruitment 2024. The candidates interested for RPF SI 2024 Exam must have to submit their online forms by 15th April 2024.

RPF SI ELIGIBILITY 2024

RPF SI Nationality -

A candidate must be a citizen of India

RPF SI Age Limit (as on 01/07/2024)-

The candidate should be of age group 20 to 25 years (for the general candidate) to apply for RPF SI  Recruitment 2024.

Relaxation of Upper Age Limit: - Candidates belonging to reserved categories are given age relaxation by the Government of India

1. SC/ST – 5 years
2. OBC (Non- creamy layer) – 3 years
3. PWB Disability – 10 years
4. Ex-Servicemen - The actual period of service rendered in the Defence forces + 3 years, maximum upto the age of 45 years
5. Disabled Ex-Servicemen - Relaxation up to the age of 45 years 

RPF SI Education Qualification (as on 01/07/2024)-

• Graduate from a recognized university
• Candidates must have the Educational Qualifications prescribed in the CEN from recognized University as on the last date (i.e., 14.05.2024) for submission of ONLINE application.
• Those awaiting results of their final examination of the prescribed educational qualification SHOULD NOT apply.

RPF SI 2024 SELECTION PROCESS

The eligible graduates/postgraduates can apply for RPF SI 2024 they will be selected through their performances in three different stages.

• Computer Based Test (CBT)
• PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST(PET) & PHYSICAL MEASUREMENT (PMT)
• Document Verification (DV)
• MEDICAL EXAMINATION

HOW TO APPLY

1. Visit the Official Website:
   • Go to the official RPF website: www.rrbcdg.gov.in.
2. Registration:
   • Click on the ‘New Registration’ link on the homepage of the online registration portal.
   • Read the instructions carefully and confirm that you understand them by clicking the checkbox.
   • Select the Zonal Group to which you would like to apply.
3. Fill in Personal Details:
   • Complete the registration form with your personal information, including your name, email address, and mobile number.
   • Verify your email and mobile number through an OTP sent to you.
4. Complete Application Form:
   • Log in using your registration number and password.
   • Fill out the required sections of the application form, including educational qualifications and contact details.
5. Upload Documents:
   • Upload scanned copies of your passport-sized photograph and signature as per the specified guidelines.
6. Payment of Application Fee:
   • Pay the application fee:
     • General/Unreserved: ₹500
     • SC/ST/Ex-serviceman/Female/Economically Backward Classes: ₹250

 RPF SI 2024 APPLICATION FEE

An Application Fee has to be submitted during the online application process for RPF SI 2024 Exam. As per the RPF SI Notification 2024, all eligible candidates have to pay fees online either through Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets. No other mode of applying fees is not acceptable to the candidates.
