West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) Eligibility Criteria:-

WBPSC Civil Service  Nationality

As per the WBPSC 2023 eligibility criteria, the candidate must be-

(a) A citizen of India (either natural or by registration), or

(b) Such other nationals as declared eligible by the Govt. of India.

WBPSC Civil Service  Education Qualification

As per the WBPSC 2023 educational qualification criteria, the candidate must hold a graduate degree i.e an undergraduate degree in any discipline from any recognised University. Additionally, the aspirant should have the ability to read, write, and speak in Bengali (not required for those aspirants whose mother tongue is Nepali).

WBPSC Civil Service  Age Limit

WBPSC has notified the WBPSC age limit of 2023 for the WB civil services examination for all the Group Services. The details of the WBPSC age limit are given below.

• For services and posts included in Group ‘A’ & ’C’ is 21- 36 years
• West Bengal Police Service only (i.e. Group ‘B’ Service) is 20- 36 years
• For services and posts included in Group ‘D’ is 21- 39 years
