ABOUT EXAM
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has entrusted the responsibility of conducting UGC-NET to NTA. UGC-NET is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges.GC NET is a single-day computer-based test conducted in two parts, i.e., Paper 1 and Paper 2 for 300 marks (Paper 1 - 100 marks and Paper 2 - 200 marks). UGC NET exam is taken for 82 subjects at different exam centres across India.

UGC NET JUN 2023 selection process 2023 is very simple like other any exam, only 6% of candidates are shortlisted out of total no. of candidate who’s appeared in both exam (paper 1 and paper 2). Minimum qualifying marks for unreserved category candidates in 40% and for SC/ST/OBC IS 35% marks.
