ABOUT EXAM
MPPSC is the state PCS exam of Madhya Pradesh. It examines State Services (Rajya Seva Pariksha) & Forest Services. MPPSC recruits candidates to join the State Service Examination every year to recruit for the post of Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Commercial Tax Officer, etc
On September 22, 2023, the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) will start the registration process for the MPPSC State Services Exam. On the official website, mppsc.mp.gov.in, interested people can submit their applications online. Candidates will have until October 21, 2023, to submit their applications for the MPPSC PCS 2023 exam, according to the official statement. 227 positions are up for filling as a result of this recruitment effort. Preliminary tests, primary tests, and interviews will all be part of the selection process for MPPSC PCS positions. Registered individuals will compete for these positions.

At present, only online applications are invited from candidates for admission to the MPPSC preliminary/ main written examination. After declaration of result of main written examination, the candidate, who qualify to appear at the V.V. Test, will be required to submit the printout/hard copy of online application form, along with the photocopies of the other documents on or before the date to be notified later, for consideration of their eligibility.

MADHYA PRADESH PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (MPPSC) ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-
The State Service Exam is administered by the Madhya Pradesh Service Commission for a variety of positions in the state's bureaucracy. The MPPSC Educational Qualification is stated in the official MPPSC Notification. Candidates can check the MPPSC Educational Qualification 2023 here if they're getting ready for the MPPSC Exam.
The minimum requirement for candidates is a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or an equivalent degree.
Candidates with Professional and Technical credentials that the State Government has determined to be equivalent to a Professional or Technical degree.
Candidates with professional or technical credentials that are comparable to technical degrees acknowledged by the State Government will be admitted to the exam.
Minimum Age: 21 Years
Maximum Age for Non Uniformed Positions: 40 Years
Maximum Age for Uniformed Positions: 33 Years

SELECTION PROCESS OF MPPCS EXAMINATION:
The MPPSC PCS 2023 selection process consists of three stages:
Preliminary Exam
The Preliminary Exam is an objective-type exam consisting of two papers:
Each paper is of 200 marks, for a total of 400 marks. The Preliminary Exam is a qualifying exam, and only candidates who score the minimum qualifying marks in both papers will be eligible to appear for the Main Exam.
Main Exam
The Main Exam is a descriptive-type exam consisting of nine papers:-
Paper 1: Essay
Paper 2: General Hindi
Paper 3: General English
Paper 4: Indian History
Paper 5: Indian Geography
Paper 6: Indian Polity
Paper 7: Indian Economy
Paper 8: General Science and Technology
Paper 9: Optional Subject
Each paper is of 200 marks, for a total of 1800 marks. The Main Exam is the ranking exam, and the final merit list will be prepared based on the candidates' performance in the Main Exam and the Interview.
Interview
The Interview is the final stage of the selection process. Candidates who qualify the Main Exam will be called for an interview. The Interview is of 100 marks, and the final merit list will be prepared based on the candidates' performance in the Main Exam and the Interview.
