NIFT B.des Exam dates 2024 have been announced by the National Institute of Fashion Technology. The complete schedule of the NIFT 2024 Exam is tabulated below.

Any candidate who fulfils the prescribed age and educational qualification criteria for the concerned programme can apply.

QUALIFYING AGE FOR NIFT B.des:-

 Maximum age should be 24 years as on 1st August of the year of admission. The upper age limit may be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for candidates of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/ Person with Disability (PWD) categories.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION FOR NIFT B.des:-

(Fashion Design / Leather Design /Accessory Design / Textile Design / Knitwear Design / Fashion Communication)
The +2 level examinations in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education / State Board New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi.

OR

A pass grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects.

OR

3 or 4-years diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.

OR Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system.

OR

General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri-Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level/ International Baccalaureate (IB).

NIFT BDES ENTRANCE EXAMINATION 2024:

Admission to these courses at NIFT B.des is done based on the performance of the candidates in a NIFT B.des written test and Situation test/GD/Interviews.
The NIFT B.des written exam consists of one test name General Ability Test (GAT)

Based on the choice, all eligible candidates will have to appear for a NIFT B.des written entrance examination at the Examination Centres opted by them. The written entrance examination is designed to test the knowledge, skill and aptitude of the candidates for the programme opted.

Candidates should reach the examination center at least 30 minutes before the start of the examination. 

LIST OF NIFT B.des EXAM CENTERS 2024

The updated list of exam cities for NIFT B.des 2024 has been released.

The NIFT B.des 2024 written exam will be conducted across 60 cities in the country; note that in the previous edition, the exam was conducted in 37 cities across India.

The candidate has to select their preferred city when filling out the NIFT B.des 2024 application form.

Note that an exam city can have one or more exam centers.

The allotment of exam centers will be based on factors like:

• Exam city selected
• Address of the applicant
• The seat intake at the available exam centers in the specific city.

NIFT B.des ADMIT CARDS:

NIFT B.des 2024 admit cards are not yet available. The admit card release date will be announced soon, typically during the 2nd week of January 2024 for the written exam and 3rd week of March 2024 for the situation test/PI.

• NIFT Written Exam: February 5, 2024
• NIFT Admit Card Release:
• Written Exam: 2nd week of January 2024
• Situation Test/PI: 3rd week of March 2024
• NIFT Situation Test/GD/PI: April 2024

• Visit the official NIFT website: https://www.nift.ac.in/
• Click on the "Admissions" tab.
• Select "NIFT 2024" from the drop-down menu.
• Click on the "Download Admit Card" link.

How to fill out the NIFT B.des 2024 Application Form

The National Testing Agency has begun the process of the NIFT B.des 2024 on its official website. All interested students can apply online at www.nift.ac.in. The Last date to fill out the NIFT B.des 2024 Application Form is January 3, 2024. The application forms will be filled in online mode. Below we have discussed a few simple steps that need to be followed at the time of filling the NIFT 2024 application form.

NIFT B.des 2024 Registration

• Step I: Visit the official website of the National Institute of Fashion Technology i.e., www.nift.ac.in.
• Step II: On the homepage look for the link that says “NIFT Registration 2024”, and click on it.
• Step III: Fill in all the Aadhar numbers, after successful verification of the Aadhar number fill in the details asked such as parents' name, Email ID, and mobile number.
• Step IV: The authorities will send the login ID and password to the registered email ID of the candidate.

NIFT 2024 Application form filling

After completing all these steps the candidates will have to follow the steps mentioned below:

• Step V: Now the candidates will have to fill out the NIFT B.des 2024 application form by providing all the personal information, educational details, qualifying exam, and contact details.
• Step VI: After filling in all the details carefully select the examination center.
• Step VII: Now click on the submit button. The application number will be generated.

NIFT 2024: Upload the Documents

• Step VIII: After filling out the application fee the candidates will have to upload their photographs and signatures. The authority has also released the size and format of the photograph and signature that are to be uploaded.

NIFT B.des 2024 APPLICATION FEE:-

An application fee has to be paid through online payment gateway or Bank Demand Draft issued in favour of “NIFT HO” payable at New Delhi.
