ABOUT EXAM
JEE-Advanced is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology for admission in UG – programmes at Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswa, Bombay, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Himachal Pradesh, etc.
The JEE – Advanced will have two objective type papers; each paper will contain physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Question papers will be in both English, and Hindi.
Admission to IITs will be issued on the basis of the student’s All India Ranking in JEE(Advanced) subject to the condition that such candidates should be in top 20 percentile of successful candidates of their Boards in applicable categories.

JEE-ADVANCED, ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Nationality: Indian, Foreign Nationals – must fulfill each and every one of the following five criteria to appear in JEE – Advanced, 2023.
The JEE-Advanced allows certain Criterion for the required eligibility
Criterion 1 –
Performance in JEE (Main) 2022: Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 (including all categories) in Paper-1 of JEE (Main) 2022.

*The total number of candidates can be slightly greater than 2,50,000 in the presence of “tied” ranks/scores in any category.
Criterion 2 – Age limit:-
Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1998. Five years relaxation is given to SC, ST and PwD candidates, i.e., these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1993.
Criterion 3 – Number of attempts:-
A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
Criterion 4 – Appearance in Class XII (or equivalent) examination:-
A candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2022 or 2023 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
Criterion 5 – Earlier admission at IITs:-
A candidate should NOT have been admitted in an IIT (irrespective of whether or not he/she continued in the program) OR accepted the IIT seat by reporting at a reporting centre in the past. The candidates whose admission at IITs was cancelled are also NOT eligible.
Candidates who have been admitted to a preparatory course in any of the IITs for the first time in 2022 can appear in JEE (Advanced) 2023.

JEE-ADVANCED, 2023 ADMIT CARD
The admit cards for JEE Advanced will be issued only for those candidates who have successfully registered for the JEE Advanced exam and have paid the application fee. The admit cards will be released on the official website of JEE Advanced. Check out the steps mentioned below for download the JEE Advanced admit card.
The candidates must know that JEE Advanced admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam centre. They will not be allowed to enter the exam centre without the admit card. They must carefully check the information mentioned on the admit cards such as the name of the applicant, exam date, venue, time and contact details. Candidates must also carry a valid photo ID proof such as Adhar card, pan card etc. issued by Govt of India
JEE-ADVANCED 2023, RESULT
IITB will release the JEE Advanced result 2023 at the official website in online mode. The result of JEE Advanced 2023 will be released online on the official website and candidates will need to log in using their roll number, date of birth, and mobile number.
