FUNDAMENTALS TIPS FOR PREPARATION
A Well-laid Planning-
Student already set their goal for JEE ADVANCED. Now it’s time to achieve the goal with SMART LEARNING. Students has to follow these some steps-
Goals which cannot be measured are never achieved. For example your goal can have a short term objective - I shall complete laws of motion in next two days and shall be able to answer 80% objective questions on concepts and problems of laws of motion correctly and there after assess yourself to measure whether you have achieved your short term objective.
Understand the Syllabus
Write down the syllabus, read it thoroughly and understand the priority of topics. By doing this you will gain a lot of valuable insights about the important topics, course objectives, exam pattern, marking schemes and other details which could help fill the gap of your preparation. On the half of it divided your syllabus according to time and make valuable time table.
Time Management
Time management is a major factor in your success, be it during preparation or during the exam. Try to analyze where you waste your precious time. Once you do that then you can or you should develop a suitable timetable for studying. Only with a proper timetable, you can cover the whole syllabus and even conduct revisions.
Always use the Right Study Material
NCERT books are helps you to build a strong foundation in your preparation. For additional studying, numerous books will be available, name list is mentioned below. Students have to solve previous years’ question papers; it will help you to increase speed and accuracy with time management and then you automatically gain confidence.
Preparation can never be complete without knowing the frequently asked questions from various subjects. Solve JEE Advanced frequently asked questions which will strengthen your preparation.
Analyse yourself test results carefully. You would have committed some silly mistakes. Try to avoid them next time.

Believe in yourself and study calmly.
Knowledge will never going waste.
Never lose your patience by over thinking about the JEE Advanced. Don’t take stress. Stick on to a proper and healthy diet during this period as many IIT aspirants tend to change their routine due to JEE Preparation. It is important to stay fit, eat and sleep at the right time.
Don’t Go For New
Many IIT applicants have this habit of pertaining to new books or trying to study new contents. But doing so, will lead to confusion and lead to gratuitous stress. Use this time only for revision and answer mock tests.

There are many good books in market but stick to few books only.
Keep NCERT books as your base book alongwith one more textbook each subjectwise for theory and one book for problems. rest all should only be used as reference books only to clear specific doubts
