ABOUT EXAN
MAHARASHTRA COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (MHT – CET) was established by the Maharashtra government as per the provisions of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Education Institutions Act. Of 2015.
The Commissioner of Maharashtra State CET-Cell was designated as the competent authority for conducting MHT-CET 2023 engineering entrance examination to select the students to get admission in 4 year full time UG courses in Engineering, Pharmacy, Technology and also 6 year full-time UG courses in Pharma D, for the academic year 2023-23.
With the powers conferred by ‘section 23’ of “Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions Act”, 2015, the government of Maharashtra has regulated the admission for the First & Direct Second Year of Full-Time Undergraduate Technical Courses. These rules are also applicable to get admission into Government, or Government affiliated institutes including ICT Mumbai, as per the new Government Resolution

IMPORTANT DATES:-
Maharashtra government released exam notification MHT CET on official website. The MHT CET apply online process has begun on March 8, 2023 and end up to April 7, 2023. Candidates must keep visiting EaseTolearn for regularly to stay updated about important and recent notification of MHT CET 2023 exam.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: -
Age: No Age Limit (There is no age limit to apply for MHT-CET 2023)
Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian National.
#Note: Children of NRI/ OCI/ PIO, and the children of Indian workers in foreign countries – These types of candidates are exempted for MHT-CET 2023.
Minority Candidates – A candidate related to a particular linguistic or religious minority community from the State of Maharashtra and as notified by the Government are eligible under this particular category.
MHT-CET EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION-
The participating students for MHT-CET engineering examination must have passed/ appearing at the 12th Standard examination or its equivalent examination are eligible to apply for MHT-CET 2023.
MHT CET Candidature Type – A candidate can only claim one type of Maharashtra State Candidature i.e. from Type A to E.
1. For Maharashtra State Candidates :
(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National.
(ii) The Candidate must have passed HSC-12th or its equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects also including Chemistry, or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical subjects, and must have obtained more than 45% marks( minimum requirement of 40% for Backward class categories, and persons with disability)
or
Passed in Diploma of Engineering and Technology, and have obtained at least 45% ( minimum requirement of 40% for Backward class categories, and persons with disability)
or
Passed B.Sc. degree from any recognised university as defined by the University Grants Commission, and obtained at least 45% ( minimum requirement of 40% for Backward class categories, and persons with disability) and have passed 12th standard with Mathematics, and Physics as a subject.
2. For All India Candidates, Jammu & Kashmir Migrant Candidates
(i) Candidate must have Indian Nationality.
(ii) Candidate must have passed HSC or its equivalent examination including Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and should have obtained at least 45% marks( minimum requirement of 40% for Backward class categories, and persons with disability).
(ii) Candidate must have passed the Diploma in Engineering & Technology, and obtained at least 45% ( minimum requirement of 40% for Backward class categories, and persons with disability)
Or;
A candidate who has passed B.Sc. degree from a Recognised University as defined by The University Grants Commission, and have attained at least 45% ( minimum requirement of 40% for Backward class categories, and persons with disability), and passed 12th standard with Mathematics as a core subject.
MHT CET 2023 Exam Date & Schedule
The examination schedule of MHT CET 2023 is notified by the Directorate, and Competent Authority of Medical Education & Research, Mumbai.
HOW TO APPLY FOR MHT-CET ONLINE FORM:-
The application for MHT-CET 2023 will be filled through an online portal only. The information brochure for MHT-CET 2023, and the user directions to fill an online application are available on https://mhtcet2023.mahacet.org/StaticPages/HomePage.
The candidates must submit their online application form at: https://mhtcet2023.mahacet.org/StaticPages/HomePageafter logging in.

EXAMINATION CENTRE FOR MHT-CET
The list of MHT CET exam centres 2023 along with the information brochure is released by the authorities at cetcell.mahacet.org. The exam centres of MHT CET 2023 contain a list of cities where the common entrance exam will be held.
The online mode (Computer Based Test) will be conducted in all the district headquarters in the State of Maharashtra, as well as Capital District of the selected states outside Maharashtra like Bihar, Chattisgarh, Delhi-NCR, Gujrat, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
The participating candidates can select their examination centre on MHT-CET online application.
