ABOUT EXAN

MAHARASHTRA COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (MHT – CET) was established by the Maharashtra government as per the provisions of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Education Institutions Act. Of 2015. 
The Commissioner of Maharashtra State CET-Cell was designated as the competent authority for conducting MHT-CET 2024 engineering entrance examination to select the students to get admission in 4 year full time UG courses in Engineering, Pharmacy, Technology and also 6 year full-time UG courses in Pharma D, for the academic year 2024-25. 

With the powers conferred by ‘section 23’ of “Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions Act”, 2015, the government of Maharashtra has regulated the admission for the First & Direct Second Year of Full-Time Undergraduate Technical Courses. These rules are also applicable to get admission into Government, or Government affiliated institutes including ICT Mumbai, as per the new Government Resolution

HOW TO APPLY FOR MHT-CET ONLINE FORM:-

The application for MHT-CET 2024 will be filled through an online portal only. The information brochure for MHT-CET 2024, and the user directions to fill an online application are available on https://cetcell.mahacet.org/. 

The candidates must submit their online application form at:  https://cetcell.mahacet.org/ after logging in. 
The detailed submission of the online application is given in the MHT-CET user manual. 
Four Step Process for MHT-CET Online Application  - 
1. Registration – Register yourself on : https://cetcell.mahacet.org/
2. Download & Fill out the Application Form of MHT-CET 2024 

3. Upload your Photograph & Signature 

4. Fee Payment – Through online payment modes or offline (Bank Challan Payment) mode. 

APPLICATION FEES FOR MHT-CET: 

• The application fee is to be paid via online payment modes, as per the rules.
• The MHT-CET fee is non-refundable and no-transferable.
• For PCB/PCM, the General Category will have to pay Rs 1000/-
• For PCB/PCM, the Reserve Category candidates will have to pay Rs 800/-
• For both PCB & PCM, the General Category will have to pay Rs 1500/-
• For both PCB & PCM, the Reserve Category candidates will have to pay Rs 1300/-

EXAMINATION CENTRE FOR MHT-CET 

The list of MHT CET exam centres 2024 along with the information brochure is released by the authorities at cetcell.mahacet.org. The exam centres of MHT CET 2024 contain a list of cities where the common entrance exam will be held.

The online mode (Computer Based Test) will be conducted in all the district headquarters in the State of Maharashtra, as well as Capital District of the selected states outside Maharashtra like Bihar, Chattisgarh, Delhi-NCR, Gujrat, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. 
The participating candidates can select their examination centre on MHT-CET online application. 

MHT- CET ADMIT CARD 

Visit https://cetcell.mahacet.org/ to download their Admit Card for MHT-CET examination. The participating candidate can download it from their Login ID. 

STEPS:-

• Open the MHT CET official website 2024-cetcell.mahacet.org.
• Click on “MHT CET 2024 Admit Card” link.
• Enter your registration number, phone number, and date of birth.
• Click on “Download Admit Card”.
• Take the printout of the admit card of MHT CET 2024.
