The Bank of Maharashtra has released a total of 100 vacancies for Credit Officers Recruitment 2023. The vacancies are distributed as follows:

• Credit Officer (Scale II): 50 vacancies
• Credit Officer (Scale III): 50 vacancies

Reservation

The reservation of vacancies for different categories is as follows:

• Scheduled Caste (SC): 7%
• Scheduled Tribe (ST): 3%
• Other Backward Class (OBC): 13%
• Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 5%
• Unreserved (UR): 22%

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Nationality/ Citizenship: -
A candidate must be either

1. a Citizen of India or
2. a subject of Nepal or
3. subject of Bhutan or
4. a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st  January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
5. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.  Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) as above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.  A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination/ interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection, the offer of appointment may be given only after the Government of India has issued the necessary eligibility certificate to him.

Educational Qualification:-

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 60% marks in the aggregate of all semesters/years (55% for SC/ST/OBC/ PwBD) from a University Institute recognized by the Government of India or its Regulatory Bodies. The passing of JAIIB & CAIIB is desirable OR Professional qualification like CA / CMA CFA from a recognized University/ Institution/ Board recognized by Govt. of India / approved by Govt. Regulatory bodies.

Bank of Maharashtra Credit Officers Selection Procedure: -

The candidates shall be required to appear for an online examination to be conducted through IBPS.

• Online Written Exam
• Interview
• Document Verification

Bank of Maharashtra Credit Officers in Scale II and III Online Test:
The selection will be made on the basis of performance in Online Test, Personal Interview, and/or GD.
On-line tests will be conducted through IBPS/ or any other examiner decided by the Bank and the mode of test will be decided by the Bank.  

Bank of Maharashtra Credit Officers in Scale II and III Personal Interview:

Candidates qualifying in the online test will be shortlisted and called for a Personal Interview subject to the number of intakes in each category.
After the Personal Interview, shortlisted candidates in order of merit in written test and Personal Interview will have to be undertaken.
