Delhi Skill And Entrepreneurship University Diploma Eligibility For Delhi Polytechnics  

Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University Diploma Courses (Full-time) :  

Candidates must have passed class X or equivalent with mathematics as a subject

For Diploma in Pharmacy, candidates must have passed Class XII with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics (PCB/PCM) as subjects. 

Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University Diploma Courses (Part-time) (3 year) : 

Candidate should have passed class X or any other examination recognized as equivalent to class X examination with mathematics as a subject + ITI (2 years).

OR Candidates should have passed class XII with Vocational stream. 

Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University Diploma Courses (Lateral Entry) -for Delhi candidates only : 

Candidate should have passed class XII or equivalent with Mathematics or Technical Vocational.

OR Candidate should have passed class X +ITI (2years) with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. 

DELHI SKILL AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP UNIVERSITY ADMISSION PROCESS: 

All the candidates seeking admission in Diploma Programs (Full-time Diploma, Lateral Entry to Full-time Diploma, ADAM) and Undergraduate program (B.A. Digital Media and Design) will be required to appear for the respective Entrance Tests.

The Entrance Test will be conducted in ONLINE AI Proctored mode, which the candidate can attempt from their home or any convenient location but they will be required to have stable internet access so that he/she can attempt the exam in an uninterrupted manner. The Entrance Exam will be conducted ONLY ONCE as announced on the www.dseu.ac.in and DSEU admissions portal.

After the entrance test, a Merit List will be announced. On the basis of the Merit criterion, the candidates will be required to submit their choices/preferences of programs. 

Criteria for preparing the Merit List for Full-time Diploma (for Engineering programs) : 

Performance in CET :  60% (Weightage)

Academic Performance in Class X : 30% (Weightage)

ECA / Vocational Stream / LOR / Ward of DSEU Staff or Faculty: 10% (Weightage) 

Criteria for preparing the Merit List for Full-time Diploma (for Cosmetology & Health) : 

Performance in CET :  60% (Weightage)

Academic Performance in Class X : 30% (Weightage)

ECA / Vocational Stream / LOR / Ward of DSEU Staff or Faculty: 10% (Weightage) 

Criteria for preparing the Merit List for Full-time Diploma  Non-Engineering Programs, except Pharmacy and Cosmetology & Health) : 

Performance in Creative Aptitude Test:  60% (Weightage)

Academic Performance in Class X : 30% (Weightage)

85% seats in all the courses are earmarked for candidates belonging to the Delhi region and 15% seats are earmarked for students belonging to outside Delhi region.

Delhi Region Candidates (85% of seats) : A candidate passing the qualifying examination from a recognized School/College/Institute located within the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi will be considered for Delhi Region only

Outside Delhi Region Candidates (15% of seats) : A candidate passing the qualifying examination from a recognized School/College/Institute located outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi will be considered for Outside Delhi Region only

Reservation Policy:

Scheduled Caste (SC): 15% ; Scheduled Tribe (ST): 7.5 % ; Other Backward Class (OBC): 27% ; Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 10% ; Defence: 5%
