ABOUT EXAM

IBPS, an autonomous body, has received a mandate from the organisations to conduct the recruitment process as Specialist officers, once a year. 

IBPS CRP SO Exam is a right opportunity for the candidates who want to work as a Specialist Officer like in the field of I.T., Agricultural Field, Rajbhasha Adhikari, Law, HR/Personnel, Marketing in a Bank.

Any eligible candidate, who aspires to join any of the Participating Organisations as one of the IBPS Specialist Officers (SO) post, is required to register for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP SPL-XIII).
The online examination (Preliminary and Main) for the next Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for selection of personnel in Specialist Officers’ cadre posts listed below in the Participating Banks is tentatively scheduled in December 2023/ January 2024.

IMPORTANT DATES

The Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS) released the IBPS SO 2023 Notification on its official website on 31st July 2023 for 1402 vacancies. The online applications for the IBPS SO 2023 are now active from 1st August 2023 and will continue till 21st August 2023.

IBPS has introduced 1402 Specialist Officers (SO) vacancies for IBPS SO 2023-24 exam along with its notification on 31st July 2023.

Now we see the no. of vacancy along with the post:-

IBPS SO Candidates can apply for only one post. Multiple applications will be summarily rejected.
IBPS CRP SO ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-

AGE LIMIT (01-08-2023)-

Candidate is required to be a Minimum – 20 years and Maximum – 30 years i.e. a candidate must have been born not earlier than 02nd August 1993 and not later than 01st August 2003 (both dates inclusive)

Relaxation of Upper Age Limit: - Candidates belonging to reserved categories are given age relaxation by the Government of India

1. SC/ST – 5 years
2. OBC (Non- creamy layer) – 3 years
3. PWB Disability – 10 years
4. Ex-Servicemen, including ECOs/SSCOs – 5 years
5. Persons affected by 1984 riots – 5 years

NATIONALITY-
A candidate must be either

1. a citizen of India or
2. a subject of Nepal or
3. a subject of Bhutan or
4. a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
5. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

• IT Officer (Scale-I): 4 year Engineering/Technology Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation OR Post Graduate Degree in Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics &Instrumentation/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Applications OR Graduate having passed DOEACC ‘B’ level
• Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I): 4 year Degree (graduation) in Agriculture/ Horticulture/Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/ Dairy Science/ Fishery Science/ Pisciculture/ Agri. Marketing & Cooperation/ Co-operation & Banking/ Agro-Forestry/Forestry/ Agricultural Biotechnology/ Food Science/ Agriculture Business Management/ Food Technology/ Dairy Technology/ Agricultural Engineering/ Sericulture
• Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I): Post Graduate Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree (graduation) level OR Post graduate degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at the degree (graduation) level
• Law Officer (Scale I): A Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) and enrolled as an advocate with Bar Council
• HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I): Graduate and Two Years Full time Post Graduate degree or Two Years Full time Post Graduate diploma in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations/ HR / HRD/ Social Work / Labour Law.
• Marketing Officer (Scale I): Graduate and Two Years Full time MMS (Marketing)/ Two Years Full time MBA (Marketing)/ Two Years Full time PGDBA / PGDBM/ PGPM/ PGDM with specialization in Marketing.

The fraction of percentage so arrived will be ignored i.e. 59.99% will be treated as less than 60% and 54.99% will be treated as less than 55%.

IBPS SO SELECTION PROCESS:-

Selection for IBPS CRP SPL Officers would be based on the basis of online Exam. It conducts in these parts:-

• PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION
• MAIN EXAMINATION
• INTERVIEW

IBPS CRP SO EXAMINATION CENTRES:-

(i) The examination will be conducted online in venues across many centres in India. The tentative list of Examination centres for the IBPS SO Online Preliminary Examination and those for IBPS SO Online Main Examination is available in information bulletin.
(ii) No request for change of centre for Examination shall be entertained.
(iii) IBPS, however, reserves the right to cancel any of the Examination  Centres and/or add some other Centres, at its discretion, depending upon the response, administrative feasibility, etc.
(iv) IBPS also reserves the right to allot the candidate to any centre other than the one he/she has opted for. 

HOW TO APPLY FOR IBPS CRP SPL

IBPS CRP SPL Candidates can apply online only from 01.08.2023 to 21.08.2023 and no other mode of application will be accepted.

Candidates are first required to go to the IBPSs authorized website www.ibps.in and click on the Home Page to open the link CRP Specialist Officers and then click on the option

 CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP-Specialist Officers (CRP-SPL-XIII) to open the On-Line Application Form.

After that a provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen.
Candidate should note down the Provisional registration number and password.  An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent. They can reopen the saved data using Provisional registration number and password and edit the particulars, if needed.

APPLICATION FEES-

IBPS CRP SO APPLICATION FEES (only online payment):- The candidates while applying for the IBPS SO 2023 posts have to pay the Application Fee via online mode to complete the application process.

Bank Transaction charges for Online Payment of application fees/intimation charges will have to be borne by the candidate.

MODE OF PAYMENT:-

Candidates have the option of making the payment of requisite fees/ intimation charges through ONLINE mode only.

The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets by providing information as asked on the screen.

IBPS CRP SO 2023 ADMIT CARD: -

The IBPS CRP SO Admit Card will be released by IBPS on its official website and registered candidate will be required to download. Firstly, admit card released for IBPS CRP SO 2023 preliminary exam and then IBPS CRP SO 2023 mains exam admit card released for those who successfully qualify preliminary exam.

Candidates have to login their account created while filling in the online application form and then download the admit card.
