ABOUT EXAM

All India Sainik School Admission Form has been released. Sainik Schools Society, New Delhi invites applications from aspirants who are seeking Admission to Sainik Schools for the academic year 2025-26. 

Sainik Schools Society (SSS) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Defence, Govt of India. The Society runs Sainik Schools. Sainik Schools are English medium residential schools affiliated to CBSE. Sainik Schools prepare Cadets to join the National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla (Pune), Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, and other Training Academies for officers. At present, there are a total of 33 Sainik Schools across the country.

Sainik Schools Society (SSS) offers admission to Class VI and Class IX for the academic year 2025-26, Admission is based on the performance of candidates in the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE). The final selection is based on school-wise, class-wise, category-wise rank in the merit list of the Entrance examination, medical fitness approved by competent Medical authorities and verification of original documents.

The responsibility of NTA is limited to inviting online applications for AISSEE 2025, the conduct of the AISSEE 2025, processing and declaration of result’s and providing the merit list to the SSS.

IMPORTANT DATES

On 24 December 2024, AISSEE 2025 exam notification was released on the official website of AISSEE. The AISSEE application online process began on 24 December 2024 and ended on January 23, 2025. Candidates must keep visiting EaseToLearn regularly to stay updated about important and recent notifications of AISSEE 2025 exam.

 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ALL INDIA SAINIK SCHOOL AISSEE 2025

AGE LIMIT

1. Age Limit criteria for admission in SAINIK SCHOOL
2. Class 6 - 10 to 12 years
3. Class 9 - 13 to 15 years
4. -The Entrance Examination will be held for admission to class VI & IX. Boys who are between the age of 10 to 12 years and 13 to 15 years respectively on 31st March of the year in which admission is sought are eligible to take the Entrance Exam. For admission to Class IX, the boys should be studying in Class VIII in a recognized school. Admission will be made strictly in order of merit only in classes VI and IX.
5. Only boys’ candidates are eligible to take admission in SAINIK SCHOOL all over India.
6. Admission for Girls is open for Class VI. Age criteria are the same as boys.
7. Admission to Class IX is not open for girls. 

PASSING MARKS FOR AISSEE ADMISSION:  

A candidate is eligible for admission to the SAINIK SCHOOL, if he/ she secure a minimum of 25% marks in each subject of the exam and 40% marks in aggregate of all the subjects of AISSEE 2025.  However, admission will be based on relative merit (in AISSEE) of the candidate in his/ her category in the school opted by him/ her, medical fitness, and verification of requisite documents.

However, no minimum marks are prescribed for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe category. They will be admitted on the basis of inter-se merit at the Entrance Examination within their respective categories, subject to medical fitness and verification of requisite documents.

AISSEE Exam Test

1. The AISSEE written Entrance Examination will be notify latter.
2. Due to the change in format total number of questions in class VI as well as IX may change. 

 AISSEE Medium/Language 

1. Class 6 - English/ Hindi/ Local Language of the State
2. Class 9 - English Language Only 

AISSEE Application Fees

 Reservation as per Gvrt Rules-

1. 25% of cadets in NDA are from Sainik Schools.
2. 15% of the total seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes and 7½% seats for Scheduled Tribes.
3. Out of the remaining, 67% of the seats will be reserved for boys from the State in which the Sainik School is located. Balance 33% left over of seats will be thrown open to boys from other States and Union Territories in the ratio of their male population
4. Any unutilized seats in this category will be merged with home State seats (In this connection, please refer to this office letter No. 4(1)/SSS/2016) dated 5th July 2017) in order of merit.
5. 25% seats are reserved for children of service personnel including Ex-servicemen 

SELECTION PROCESS FOR AISSEE 2025

The selection process for AISSEE 2025 is as follows:

Written Exam: The written exam will be notify. The exam will be of 3 hours duration and will consist of multiple choice questions. The syllabus for the exam is based on the NCERT syllabus for Class 5 and Class 8.

Medical Examination: Candidates who qualify for the written exam will be called for a medical examination. The medical examination will be conducted to ensure that the candidates are medically fit to join the Sainik Schools.

Merit List: A final merit list will be prepared based on the performance of the candidates in the written exam and medical examination. Candidates will be selected for admission to Sainik Schools based on their rank in the merit list.

The selection process may also include an interview round for some candidates.

The Application Form other than online mode will not be accepted. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate.

Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as given in the Information Bulletin and on NTA website https://aissee.nta.nic.in. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified.
