ANDHRA PRADESH CIVIL SERVICES EXAMINATION

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has announced for filling 897 vacancies for Executive and Non-Executive Posts in various departments of Group 2 Vacancies through APPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2023. There will be a three-stage selection process - Prelims, Mains, and Computer Proficiency. Applicants should have an understanding and knowledge of English and Telugu language. The Job location allocated to selected candidates will be in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Here are the eligibility requirements for APPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2023:

Nationality:

• You must be a citizen of India.

Age:

The age of the candidates must not be less than 18 years and more than 42 years to be eligible for APPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2023. Age relaxation will be provided to the reserved categories as per the government rules and regulations.

• The age limit is 18 to 42 years as on 01.01.2024.
• There is a relaxation in the upper age limit for reserved category candidates as per the government rules.

The Upper Age Relaxation applies to the categories as detailed below:-

Educational Qualification:

The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent qualifications from a recognized university are a must to be eligible to apply for APPSC Group 2 Vacancies. 

• You must possess a Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university.
• Some posts may have additional qualifications or experience requirements.

Other Requirements:

HOW TO APPLY FOR APPSC GROUP 2:

Steps to Apply for APPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2023:-

One-Time Registration (18th December 2023 - 10th January 2024):

1. Visit the official website of APPSC: https://psc.ap.gov.in/
2. Click on the "One Time Registration" link.
3. Enter your name, email address, mobile number, and other required details.
4. Create a strong password and remember it.
5. Upload your scanned photograph and signature as per the specified format.
6. Click on "Submit" and verify your registration through the OTP sent to your mobile number.

Application Submission (21st December 2023 - 1st January 2024):

1. Login to your account using your registered email address and password.
2. Click on the "Direct Recruitment" link and then on "New Notification".
3. Select the "APPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2023" notification.
4. Read the instructions carefully and click on the "Apply" button.
5. Choose the post(s) you want to apply for and proceed.
6. Enter your personal details, educational qualifications, and other required information.
7. Upload scanned copies of relevant documents such as certificates, mark sheets, and caste certificates.
8. Pay the application fee online through debit/credit card or net banking.

APPSC Group 2 Selection Process 2023 -

The candidates will be selected for APPSC Group 2 services through prelims, mains, and computer proficiency tests. The APPSC Group 2 Prelims Exam is of screening type and the final merit list will comprise of the marks obtained by the candidates in the mains exam. The candidates who got qualified in all stages will be called for document verification round.
