IMPORTANT DATES

The RRB Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) has released the complete schedule regarding the RRB ALP Recruitment 2024. The candidates interested for RRB ALP 2024 Exam must have to submit their online forms by 20th January 2024.

RRB ALP ELIGIBILITY 2024

RRB ALP Nationality -

A candidate must be either

1. a citizen of India or
2. a subject of Nepal or
3. a subject of Bhutan or
4. a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
5. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. 

RRB ALP Age Limit (as on 01/07/2024)-

The candidate should be of age group 18 to 30 years (for the general candidate) to apply for RRB ALP Recruitment 2024.

Relaxation of Upper Age Limit: - Candidates belonging to reserved categories are given age relaxation by the Government of India

1. SC/ST – 5 years
2. OBC (Non- creamy layer) – 3 years
3. PWB Disability – 10 years
4. Ex-Servicemen - The actual period of service rendered in the Defence forces + 3 years, maximum upto the age of 45 years
5. Disabled Ex-Servicemen - Relaxation up to the age of 45 years 

RRB ALP Education Qualification (as on 01/07/2024)-

Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Millwright / Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic (Radio & TV), Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature & Coil Winder, Mechanic (Diesel), Heat Engine, Turner, Machinist, Refrigeration & Air- Conditioning Mechanic.

Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades

(OR)

Matriculation / SSLC plus three years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering

(OR)

Combination of various streams of these Engineering disciplines from a recognised Institution in lieu of ITI. Note: Degree in the Engineering disciplines as above will also be acceptable in lieu of Diploma in Engineering.

RRB ALP 2024 SELECTION PROCESS

The eligible graduates/postgraduates can apply for RRB ALP 2024 they will be selected through their performances in three different stages.

• Phase 1- Computer Based Test (CBT) 1
• Phase 2- Computer Based Test (CBT) 2
• Phase 3- Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)
• Phase 4- Document Verification (DV)
• Phase 5- Final Merit List

HOW TO APPLY

1. Visit the Official RRB Website: Go to the official website of the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) relevant to your zone.
2. Access the Notification: Click on the RRB ALP 2024 Notification link to read the details regarding the exam, eligibility criteria, and application process.
3. Register Yourself:
   • Click on the "Apply Online" link.
   • Fill in the required personal details to register. You will receive a registration number and password via OTP.
4. Fill Out the Application Form:
   • Log in using the registration number and password.
   • Complete the application form with your personal, educational, and contact details.
5. Upload Documents:
   • Upload the necessary documents, including your photograph and signature, in the specified formats.

RRB ALP 2024 APPLICATION FEE

An Application Fee has to be submitted during the online application process for RRB ALP 2024 Exam. As per the RRB ALP Notification 2024, all eligible candidates have to pay fees online either through Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets. No other mode of applying fees is not acceptable to the candidates.
