SSC Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination 2024

The Staff Selection Commission will hold a competitive examination for recruitment of Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (in Pay Level-1 as per Pay Matrix of 7th Pay Commission), a General Central Service Group C Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India and various Constitutional Bodies/ Statutory Bodies/ Tribunals, etc., in different States/Union Territories and Havaldar (in Pay Level-1 as per Pay Matrix of 7th Pay Commission), a General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN) under Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance.

On 27th June 2024, SSC MTS 2024 exam notification released on official website of SSC. The SSC MTS apply online process has begun on 27th June 2024 and end up on 31st July 2024. VACANCIES:-

The Staff Selection Commission released the SSC MTS & Havaldar Vacancy details in a state-wise manner for both the age-groups. Earlier, the Commission released total of 8326 vacancies out of which 4887 Multi Tasking Staff and 3439 Havaldar vacancies in CBIC and CBN.

SSC MTS ELIGIBILITY:-

SSC criteria these 3 major criteria that a candidate is required to fulfil in order to be eligible for SSC MTS 2024 Exam. Before filling the applications for SSC MTS Exam, the candidates must know the minimum required Eligibility Criteria in terms of nationality, education qualification, and age limit. Let’s have a look at all about those criteria:

NATIONALITY / CITIZENSHIP: -

    A citizen of India

    Subject of Nepal

    Subject of Bhutan

    Tibetan Refugee

    Person of Indian Origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Afghanistan, Kenya, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam.

AGE LIMITS (as on 01-08-2024): -

The age limits for the posts as per the Recruitment Rules of various User Departments are:

• A candidate must be of minimum 18 years of age and must not exceed 25 years of age, candidates born not before 02-08-1999 and not later than 01-08-2006 for MTS and Havaldar in CBN (Department of Revenue).
• 18-27 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02.08.1997 and not later than 01.08.2006) for Havaldar in CBIC (Department of Revenue) and few posts of MTS.

Note-I: The upper age limit is relax able for SC, ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen and other categories of persons in accordance with the Governments orders on the subject.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:-

 Educational Qualification (as on 01-08-2024):  

The candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/ University.

SSC MTS 2024 SELECTION PROCESS

The eligible candidates for SSC Multi Tasking Staff recruitment will be shortlisted on the basis of three stages. A candidate needs to qualify in each stage with marks more than the cut-off announced. The three stages to be cleared are as below- 

Stage 1- Paper-1

Stage 2- Only for the post of Havaldar- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST)

Stage 3- Paper-2

SSC MTS 2024 Admit Card

Staff Selection Commission firstly releases the SSC MTS Application Status followed by the release of the SSC MTS Admit Card for each stage. The candidates have to download SSC MTS 2024 Admit Card from the official website only as no hardcopy or soft copy would be sent to the candidates. 

APPLICATION FEE FOR SSC MTS EXAM:

The Application Fee for SSC MTS 2024 is Rs. 100/-

RUPEES ONE HUNDRED ONLY (Rs 100) - Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro,  RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.

Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
