Vellore Institute of Technology released exam notification VITEEE on the official website of https://viteee.vit.ac.in/. The VITEEE application online process began on 4 NOV 2024 and ended on 31st MARCH 2025. VITEE ELIGIBILITY:

Nationality for VITEEE:-

The applicant should be a Resident / Non-Resident Indian National / PIO / OCI.

NRI applicants can directly apply under 'NRI Category' through NRI application form. (https://vit.ac.in/admissions/international/overview)

Foreign applicants who studied/studying abroad can apply directly through the International application form.

Education Qualification for VITEEE: –

Candidates applying for VITEEE 2025 must have either completed or shall be appearing in 2025, in any one of the following examinations.

1. 1. The final examination of 12^th system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State Board; Central Board of Secondary Education (CSBE), The council for Indian School Certificate Examination ( ISCE, New Delhi)
   2. Intermediate or Two-year Pre-University examination which is conducted by a recognized Board/University.
   3. High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
   4. General Certificate Education (GCE) examination from London/ Cambridge/ Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.

#Note: For Indian Nationals/ NRI/ PIO card holder, appearance in VITEEE, 2025 is mandatory to be eligible for B.Tech admission under regular mode (Applicants under International/ NRI quote exempted). In case if exam get cancelled due to natural calamities, qualifying criteria may be substituted with higher secondary marks. Applicants will be informed with specifics in such case.

Eligibility Criteria for the Qualifying Examination:

Participants appearing for the VITEEE in 2025 should have secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/ Intermediate

The average marks obtained in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics or Biology (PCM/ PCB) in +2(or its equivalent) putting them together should be 50% for the following categories:

1. 1. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
   2. Candidates hailing from J & K/ Ladakh, and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. Certificate to prove Community/ Nativity should be produced at the time of counselling, falling which they will be considered for admission.

Age Limit for VITEEE:-

Participants whose date of birth falls on or after 1^st July 2003 are eligible for VITEEE, 2025. The date of birth as recorded in the High School/ SSC/ X Certificate/ Birth Proof will be considered authentic.

SELECTION PROCEDURE FOR VITEEE 2025: -

• Selection is based on the rank secured through CBT (Computer Based Test) VITEEE 2025.
• Selected candidates can participate in online counselling based on their ranking. They can give options for specific campus, programme and category of fees. Allotment will be based on the matching of the rank obtained and available options.
• Candidates with rank up to 1 Lakh are eligible for counselling to Vellore and Chennai campus.
• VIT will verify the eligibility of candidates after completing the tuition fee payment on or before the stipulated date. Candidates are required to produce documents on the day of coming to the campus or as and when asked for, by the Office of Admissions. Provisional Admission offered during counselling will be valid ONLY if the eligibility is fulfilled.

HOW TO APPLY FOR VITEEE 2025:-

To appear for VIT Engineering Entrance Examination 2025, the application forms are available online at LINK

• Valid e-mail address and active mobile number.
• Valid Net Banking Account/ Credit/ Debit Card or Paytm Account.
• Scanned files (.jpg format) of your photo (3.5 cm width x 4.5 cm height; 10-200 kB size) and signature (3.5 cm width x 1.5 cm height; 10-200 kB size)
• Enter all the relevant details carefully.
• An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number (For Indians) for verification.
• Once OTP is validated, a password will be sent to your registered email address.
• All the VITEEE communications will be sent to your registered email address and mobile number. Request for change of registered mobile number/e-mail address / Corresponding Address will not be entertained under any circumstances.

FEES FOR VITEEE 2025:

• Application cost of Rs.1350 should be paid through Net Banking Account/ Credit/ Debit Card/ Paytm
• For Abroad test centre: Equivalent to USD 90 in INR
• Application cost is non-refundable
