VITEEE ELIGIBILITY:

Nationality: The applicant must be a Resident/ Non-resident Indian National/PIO
(Foreign candidates studied/ studying abroad can also apply through foreign category only. A separate application form is available for international applicants)

                                                       EDUCATION QUALIFICATION –

Candidates applying for VITEEE 2023 must have either completed or shall be appearing in 2023, in any one of the following examinations.

• • The final examination of 12^th system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State Board; Central Board of Secondary Education (CSBE), The council for Indian School Certificate Examination ( ISCE, New Delhi)
  • Intermediate or Two-year Pre-University examination which is conducted by a recognized Board/University.
  • High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
  • General Certificate Education (GCE) examination from London/ Cambridge/ Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.

#Note: For Indian Nationals/ NRI/ PIO card holder, appearance in VITEEE, 2023 is mandatory to be eligible for B.Tech admission under regular mode (Applicants under International/ NRI quote exempted). In case if exam get cancelled due to natural calamities, qualifying criteria may be substituted with higher secondary marks of JEE-2021 or via valid SAT. Applicants will be informed with specifics in such case.

Eligibility Criteria for the Qualifying Examination:

Participants appearing for the VITEEE in 2021 should have secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/ Intermediate

The average marks obtained in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics or Biology (PCM/ PCB) in +2(or its equivalent) putting them together should be 50% for the following categories:

• • Candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
  • Candidates hailing from J & K/ Ladakh, and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. Certificate to prove Community/ Nativity should be produced at the time of counselling, falling which they will be considered for admission.

VITEEE Subject Eligibility:

• • Participants who have studied Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry in +2/ Higher Secondary Board are eligible for all the B.Tech. Programmes.
  • Participants who have studied Biology/ Physics/ Chemistry in +2/ Higher Secondary school of Board are eligible for the following Bio Stream Programmes only. Upon joining, the students need to mandatorily register for a bridge course in Mathematics.
  • B.Tech – Bio Engineering (VIT – Bhopal)
  • B.Tech – Bio Technology (VIT – Vellore)
  • B.Tech – Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Bio-Informatics (VIT - Vellore)
  • B.Tech – Electronics & Communication with specialization in Bio-medical Engineering (VIT – Vellore)
• SELECTION PROCEDURE: -
• Selection is based on the rank secured through CBT (Computer Based Test) VITEEE 2023.
• Selected candidates can participate in online counselling based on their ranking. They can give options for specific campus, programme and category of fees. Allotment will be based on the matching of the rank obtained and available options.
• Candidates with rank up to 1 Lakh are eligible for counselling to Vellore and Chennai campus.
• VIT will verify the eligibility of candidates after completing the tuition fee payment on or before the stipulated date. Candidates are required to produce documents on the day of coming to the campus or as and when asked for, by the Office of Admissions. Provisional Admission offered during counselling will be valid ONLY if the eligibility is fulfilled.
• In case of situation wherein the eligibility criteria is not applicable, the decision of the VIT will be final.

• AGE LIMIT FOR VITEEE:-

Participants whose date of birth falls on or after 1^st July 2001 are eligible for VITEEE, 2023. The date of birth as recorded in the High School/ SSC/ X Certificate/ Birth Proof will be considered authentic.

HOW TO APPLY:-

To appear for VIT Engineering Entrance Examination 2023, the application forms are available online at : https://viteee.vit.ac.in/

• Valid e-mail address and active mobile number.
• Valid Net Banking Account/ Credit/ Debit Card or Paytm Account.
• Scanned files (.jpg format) of your photo (3.5 cm width x 4.5 cm height; 10-200 kB size) and signature (3.5 cm width x 1.5 cm height; 10-200 kB size)
• Enter all the relevant details carefully.
• An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number (For Indians) for verification.
• Once OTP is validated, a password will be sent to your registered email address.
• All the VITEEE communications will be sent to your registered email address and mobile number. Request for change of registered mobile number / e-mail address / Corresponding Address will not be entertained under any circumstances.

FEES VITEEE:

• Application cost of Rs.1350 should be paid through Net Banking Account/ Credit/ Debit Card/ Paytm
• For Abroad test centre : Equivalent to USD 90 in INR
• Application cost is non-refundable
