ABOUT EXAM

All India Sainik School Admission Form has been released. Sainik Schools Society, New Delhi invites applications from aspirants who are seeking Admission to Sainik Schools for the academic year 2024-25. 

Sainik Schools Society (SSS) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Defence, Govt of India. The Society runs Sainik Schools. Sainik Schools are English medium residential schools affiliated to CBSE. Sainik Schools prepare Cadets to join the National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla (Pune), Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, and other Training Academies for officers. At present, there are a total of 33 Sainik Schools across the country.

Sainik Schools Society (SSS) offers admission to Class VI and Class IX for the academic year 2024-25, Admission is based on the performance of candidates in the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE). The final selection is based on school-wise, class-wise, category-wise rank in the merit list of the Entrance examination, medical fitness approved by competent Medical authorities and verification of original documents.

The responsibility of NTA is limited to inviting online applications for AISSEE 2024, the conduct of the AISSEE 2024, processing and declaration of result’s and providing the merit list to the SSS.

1. All India Sainik Schools Entrance Exam 2024 named AISSEE which conducted all over India to provide admission in Sainik Schools. Students can be admission to Class 6 and Class 9 after qualifying for the AISSEE Entrance Exam 2024.

SELECTION PROCESS FOR AISSEE 2024

The selection process for AISSEE 2024 is as follows:

Written Exam: The written exam will be held on January 21, 2024. The exam will be of 3 hours duration and will consist of multiple choice questions. The syllabus for the exam is based on the NCERT syllabus for Class 5 and Class 8.

Medical Examination: Candidates who qualify for the written exam will be called for a medical examination. The medical examination will be conducted to ensure that the candidates are medically fit to join the Sainik Schools.

Merit List: A final merit list will be prepared based on the performance of the candidates in the written exam and medical examination. Candidates will be selected for admission to Sainik Schools based on their rank in the merit list.

The selection process may also include an interview round for some candidates.

AISSEE Application Fees

 Reservation as per Gvrt Rules-

1. 25% of cadets in NDA are from Sainik Schools.
2. 15% of the total seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes and 7½% seats for Scheduled Tribes.
3. Out of the remaining, 67% of the seats will be reserved for boys from the State in which the Sainik School is located. Balance 33% left over of seats will be thrown open to boys from other States and Union Territories in the ratio of their male population
4. Any unutilized seats in this category will be merged with home State seats (In this connection, please refer to this office letter No. 4(1)/SSS/2016) dated 5th July 2017) in order of merit.
5. 25% seats are reserved for children of service personnel including Ex-servicemen.

HOW TO APPLY FOR AISSEE 2024:

The Application Form other than online mode will not be accepted. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate.

Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as given in the Information Bulletin and on NTA website https://aissee.nta.nic.in. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified.
