THE IOCL TRADE APPRENTICE 2022 EXAM ANALYSIS

The IOCL Trade Apprentice 2022 exam was conducted on 25th September 2022. The exam was 90 minutes duration and consisted of 100 questions. The questions were divided into the following sections:-

• General Aptitude and Reasoning (30 questions)
• General English (20 questions)
• Numerical Aptitude (20 questions)
• General Knowledge/Awareness (20 questions)
• Trade Specific Subjects (10 questions)

Overall Exam Analysis

The overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate. The General Aptitude and Reasoning section was the most difficult section, followed by the Numerical Aptitude section. The General English and General Knowledge sections were relatively easier.

Section-wise Analysis-

• General Aptitude and Reasoning: This section consisted of questions on a variety of topics, including verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, and quantitative reasoning. The questions were generally challenging and required good logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• General English: This section consisted of questions on grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and cloze tests. The questions were generally easy to moderate and candidates with a good command of the English language should have been able to answer them correctly.
• Numerical Aptitude: This section consisted of questions on arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. The questions were generally moderate to difficult and required good mathematical skills.
• General Knowledge/Awareness: This section consisted of questions on current events, history, geography, science, and economics. The questions were generally easy to moderate and candidates with a good general knowledge should have been able to answer them correctly.
• Trade-Specific Subjects: This section consisted of questions on the specific trade that the candidate had applied for. The questions were generally moderate to difficult and required good knowledge of the trade.
