The vacancies for SBI Clerk 2023 exam have been announced with its official SBI Clerk Notification 2023 on 16th November 2023. This year, SBI has introduced 8773 vacancies for the SBI Clerk 2023 exam, out of which 8283 vacancies have been announced for regular posts and 490 for Backlog posts. SBI CLERK VACANCY 2023 – BACKLOG

SBI Clerk 2023 has a total of 490 backlog vacancies -

SBI CLERK SALARY 2023

The revised pay scale for SBI Clerk 2023 is:

Basic Pay: Rs. 17,900-1000/3-20,900-1230/3-24,590-1490/4-30,550-1730/7-42,600-3270/1-45,930-1990/1-47,920

This means that the starting basic salary for an SBI Clerk will be Rs. 17,900/- and the maximum basic salary will be Rs. 47,920/-.

In addition to the basic salary, SBI Clerks also receive a number of allowances, including:

• Dearness Allowance (DA): This allowance is a percentage of the basic salary and is adjusted periodically to reflect changes in the cost of living.

• House Rent Allowance (HRA): This allowance is a percentage of the basic salary and is based on the place of posting.

• Transport Allowance: This allowance is a fixed amount and is based on the place of posting.

• City Compensatory Allowance (CCA): This allowance is a fixed amount and is paid to employees working in certain cities.

The total in-hand salary of an SBI Clerk will vary depending on the place of posting and the allowances that are applicable. However, the starting in-hand salary of an SBI Clerk is typically between Rs. 26,000/- and Rs. 29,000/-.

SBI CLERK SELECTION PROCEDURE 2023: -

For the selection of SBI Clerk 2023 candidates have to clear the examination based on the online test and the test conducted in two phases.

• Phase-I: Preliminary Examination

• Phase - II: Main Examination

Test of Specified Opted Local Language

Candidates have to appear for the test of the specified local language opted for at the time of applying. Only candidates qualifying for the mains exam are required to appear for the test. Candidates not found proficient in the opted local language are disqualified from the recruitment process. Candidates who have studied the specified local language in Classes 10 and 12 are not required to appear in the local language test. In the case of others, the local language test is compulsory.

The SBI Clerk 2023 Admit Card will be released online on the official website of SBI, i.e., sbi.co.in. The admit card will be available for download a few days before the scheduled exam date.
