SSC CGL EXAM PATTERN:
FOR SSC CGL TIER I Exam Pattern:
SSC CGL Tier-1 consist with 100 no of question and 200 marks and the time duration is 60 minutes. SSC CGL Tier-I is divided into 4 equal parts with equal weightage. SSC CGL Tier-I will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions only.

FOR SSC CGL TIER II Exam Pattern: -
SSC CGL 2024 tier 2 exam pattern is very typical and its merit- deciding tier. SSC CGL Tier-I and Tier-II will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions only. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi except for English Comprehension in Tier-I and Paper-II in Tier-II.
Penalty of Wrong Answer:
There will be negative marking of 0.50 for each wrong answer in Tier-I.
There is a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section-I, Section-II and Module-I of Section-III of Paper-I and 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-II and Paper-III.
In SSC CGL Tier-II, Paper-I is compulsory for all the posts.
Paper-II will be for only those candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme
Implementation and Statistical Investigator Grade-II in the office of Registrar General of India (M/o Home Affairs) and who are shortlisted in Tier-I for these Posts.
