PM YASASVI Entrance Test-2023 has been cancelled. The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the cancellation on September 26, 2023, due to insufficient time to conduct the examination.

The PM YASASVI Entrance Test was scheduled to be held on September 29, 2023, for students who had applied for the PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (PM-YASASVI). The scholarship is awarded to meritorious students from economically weaker sections of society to help them pursue higher education. The NTA has announced that the scholarship will now be awarded on the basis of merit, calculated using the marks obtained by candidates in classes VIII and X. The merit list will be declared in the first week of October 2023. Candidates who have applied for the exam will be able to download their PM YASASVI Scholarship Admit Cards via yet.nta.ac.in, but the exam has been cancelled. Candidates who had applied for the PM YASASVI Entrance Test are advised to visit the official website of the NTA for more information.

ABOUT EXAM

MSJ&E, a national testing agency founded by the government of India, is an autonomous, self-sufficient premier testing organization that conducts efficient and transparent standardized tests for the admission of applicants to premier higher education institutions. Consequently, the government has developed the PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for a Vibrant India (YASASVI).

The National Testing Agency has invited applications for the Yasasvi Entrance Test 2023 from 11th July 2023 and the last date to apply for the exam is August 2023. Interested applicants can visit the official website https://yet.nta.ac.in/ on or before the last date. The entrance exam is to be conducted on 29th September 2023 (Friday).

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MSJ&E) of the Government of India has created the PM Young Achievers Scholarship Grant Scheme for a Vibrant India (YASASVI) to award scholarships to students from various impoverished classes.

PM YASASVI Scheme 2023 Benefits. Scholarships provide these students with the resources they need to become financially independent and continue their further studies.

ELIGIBILITY FOR YASASVI ENTRANCE TEST (YET) 2023:

The following eligibility must be met in order for candidates to be admitted to the entrance exam:-

• The applicant must have permanent residency in India.
• A candidate must fall into one of the following categories: OBC/ EBC/ DNT SAR/NT/SNT.
• Applicants for the PM Yasasvi Scheme 2023 must have completed the 8 grade in order to sit for the 10-grade examinations in the session of 2023.
• The yearly income of the applicant’s parents should not more than Rs. 2.5 lakh.
• Students applying for a 9 grade must have been born between April 1, 2004, and March 31, 2008.
• Students applying for the eleventh grade must have been born between April 1, 2004, and March 31, 2008.
• All genders candidates will be eligible to apply for this program.

PM YASASVI SCHEME 2023 DOCUMENTS NEEDED

Documents needed for the schema are as follows:-

• Candidate must possess a class 10 passing certificate or a class 8 passing certificate.
• Candidate must hold an income certificate, as a proof of parent’s income.
• Identification card of the candidate.
• The candidate must have at least one of the following credentials: Certificates for OBC/ EBC/ DNT SAR/NT/SNT, respectively.

HOW TO APPLY FOR YASASVI ENTRANCE TEST (YET) SELECTION TEST 2023

Candidates have to apply for Yasasvi Entrance Test (YET) -2023 “Online” ONLY by accessing the website: https://yet.nta.ac.in

The Application Form other than online mode would not be accepted in any case. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. More than one application i.e. multiple Application Forms submitted by a candidate will be rejected.

• The process for applying for Yasasvi Entrance Test (YET) Selection Test has been simplified through online process. 
• Registration can be done through the admission portal of NTA linked through click here.
• The YET eligible candidates have to fill up the online form and upload the certificate.
• The online platform is in open source and free of cost. Application may be submitted from any source like desktop, laptop, mobile, tablet, etc. 
• Save the Application Form For Further Use.

ISSUE OF YASASVI ENTRANCE TEST (YET) ADMIT CARDS

The Yasasvi Entrance Test (YET) 2023 admit cards will be available as per date decided by NTA in due course which will be displayed on the application portal. The Yasasvi Entrance Test (YET) admit cards shall be downloaded free of cost by the candidates/parents some days before the exam conduct of YET.
