Selection FOR RBI ASSISTANT will be through ONLINE Examinations and Language test. 

In order to be selected as RBI Assistants 2023, applicants must go through three phases of the selection procedure. Among them are the following:

  • Phase –I: RBI Assistant Preliminary Examination.
  • Phase –II: RBI Assistant Mains Examination.

RBI ASSISTANT 2023 PRELIMS EXAM PATTERN

  • There will be 100 questions from 3 sections; English language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability
  • The time duration of the RBI Assistant Prelims Exam is 60 minutes (each section for 20 minutes).
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer, with no deduction for unanswered questions.
  • The questions will be of an Objective type.
  • Except for English Language, other sections will be in English and Hindi.
  • The marks of the Prelims Exam will not be counted in the merit list, as the Prelims exam is qualifying in nature.

  • There will be 200 questions from 5 sections; English language, Quantitative Aptitude, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, and Reasoning Ability
  • The time duration of the RBI Assistant Mains Exam is 135 minutes. Section-wise timing has been mentioned below.
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer, no deduction for unanswered questions.
  • The questions will be of an Objective type
  • Except for English Language, other sections will be in English and Hindi language.
  • Candidates qualifying Mains Exam will be called for the Language Proficiency Test and marks will be counted in preparing the merit list.

RBI ASSISTANT LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY TEST 2023:-

Candidates provisionally shortlisted from the main test will be required to take a Language Proficiency Test (LPT) to prove their general awareness and confidence level. The examination will be given in the state's official or regional language. The candidate who is not proficient in the official/ Local Language will be disqualified.
