AILET 2025 exam pattern for UG, PG and PhD are given below: -

AILET Exam Pattern 2025 for BA LLB

BA LLB is 5-year course which conducted by NLU, Delhi. This exam consists with 3 sections.  BA LLB Exam Pattern given below: -

NOTE:-

The AILET 2025 for B.A.LL.B (Hons.) programme will have three (3) sections of 150 multiple choice questions for 150 marks in total. The duration of the examination is 120 minutes.

Negative marking for BA LLB: There will be Negative Marking in AILET 2025. The criteria for negative marking will be wrong answer 0.25 Marks will be deducted. Therefore, four wrong answers will lead to deduction of 1 Mark.

If two or more candidates get the same marks at the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET), their merit will be determined on the basis of higher marks in the section on LOGICAL REASONING in the AILET 2025.

AILET Exam Pattern 2025 for LLM

Candidate who has completed their graduation degree they can apply for LLM examination. LLM is a post-graduation program and LLM exam pattern of 2025 given below.

• The entrance tests for LL.M. Programme will be Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) based only.
• The test paper will consist of 100 MCQs with each question carrying 1 mark.
• All the 100 MCQs will be from the different branches of Law.
• The duration of the examination will be 120 minutes.

Negative marking for LLM: There will be Negative Marking in AILET 2025. The criteria for negative marking will be wrong answer 0.25 Marks will be deducted. Therefore, four wrong answers will lead to deduction of 1 Mark.

AILET Exam Pattern 2025 for PhD

The candidates who are thinking of joining as a Researcher in Law in NLUD must know AILET Exam Pattern 2025 for Ph.D. This exam conduct offline mode only and admit card will be available on official website only.

• The entrance test will be Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) based only.
• The test paper will consist of 100 MCQs, with each question carrying 1 mark.

Test Composition:

• 50 MCQs will be from the subject of Research Methodology.
• For Ph.D. in Law, the remaining 50 MCQs will be from different branches of Law.

For Ph.D. in Social Sciences, the remaining 50 MCQs will be from different branches of Social Sciences.

Exemption for JRF Holders and Foreign Nationals:

• Candidates who hold a valid Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Foreign Nationals are exempted from the All India Entrance Test.
