NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY AND NAVAL ACADEMY EXAMINATION PATTERN:
The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission), New Delhi, holds this competitive examination for admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force Wings of the NDA and Naval Academy, twice a year, for the training courses commencing in January, and July. Admission to the above course is decided on the basis of the results of a written examination conducted by the UPSC which is followed by intelligence and personality test by a Services Selection Board.

Out of the maximum marks assigned to Part-B of this NDA paper. Questions on Section A, B, C, D, E, and F will carry approximately 25%, 15%, 10%, 20%, 20%, and 10% weight age respectively.
NDA & NA Intelligence and personality tests
The SSB procedure consists of two-stage selection process: Stage 1, and Stage 2. Only those candidates who clear stage 1 are permitted to appear for Stage2. The details are:
The interviewing officer (IO), Group Testing Officer (GTO) and the Psychologist will take the interview and select the most eligible students in accordance with the criteria.
