Online applications are invited from unmarried male and unmarried female candidates (who fulfill eligibility conditions as laid down by the Government of India) for enrolment as Agniveer (SSR) for 02/2025, 01/2026 and 02/2026 batch. INDIAN NAVY AGNIVEER (SSR) SELECTION CRITERIA:

Selection Process
Stage I (INET - INDIAN NAVY ENTRANCE TEST) - Online Examination:-

Based on the marks obtained in Stage I – INET, candidates will be will be shortlisted for the stage II of Agniveer (SSR) 02/2025, 01/2026 and 02/2026 separately

Stage II (PFT, WRITTEN EXAMINATION AND RECRUITMENT MEDICAL) - Written Examination:-

The candidates eligible for the stage II process of Agniveer (SSR) 02/2025, 01/2026 and 02/2026 batch (as per age criteria mentioned at Para 3 above) shall be shortlisted for the respective batch, based on the marks obtained in Stage I-INET 2025. Shortlisting will be carried out state wise. The cut-off marks for shortlisting for next stage of selection process may vary from state to state as vacancies have been allotted in a state-wise manner.

The Indian Navy AGNIVEER (SSR) question paper will comprise of four sections i.e.

• English,
• Science,
• Mathematics and
• General Knowledge.

The standard of the INDIAN NAVY AGNIVEER (SSR) question paper will be that of 10+2 Syllabus & sample papers for the examination are available on website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in

Results of the Indian Navy AGNIVEER (SSR) online examination: will be announced tentatively after 30 days.
Candidates will be called for PFT and Preliminary Recruitment Medical Examination.
The qualifying cut off marks for appearing in PFT & Preliminary Recruitment Medical Nov varies from State to State for SSR entry. 

Physical Standards: - Qualifying in Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is mandatory for selection. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk.

TRAINING:  Training for Agniveer 02/2025 will tentatively commence in Sep 2025 and for Agniveer 01/2026 in Feb 2026 and for Agniveer 02/2026 in Jul 2026 at INS Chilka, Odisha.

HOW TO APPLY INDIAN NAVY AGNIVEER (SSR) APPLICATION FORM:

The INDIAN NAVY AGNIVEER (SSR) applications are to be filled online only on website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in between 29th March 2025 to 10th April 2025.

• Register yourself on www.joinindiannavy.gov.in with your e-mail ID, if not registered already.
• The Applicants must ensure that while filling their Application Form, they are providing their valid and active e-mail IDs and mobile numbers, which should not be changed till selection procedure is over.
• Log–in with the registered E-mail ID and Click on Current Opportunities.
• Click on Apply (√) button.
• Fill up the Form completely. Before clicking the Submit button make sure all the details are correct, all required documents are scanned in original & uploaded.
• Online applications will be further scrutinised for eligibility and Nov be rejected at any stage, if found ineligible in any respect.

Indian Navy AGNIVEER (SSR) EXAMINATION FEE:

An examination fee of Rs. 550/- + 18% GST has to be paid by candidate during the Stage I - INET application through online mode by using net banking or by using Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI. Admit card will be issued for the examination only to those candidates who have successfully paid the examination fee.

Note:- Fee will be charged only during Stage I - INET application. There will be no separate fee for Stage II process.
