IBPS Common Recruitment Process for Clerks Examination Structure: -
The IBPS Clerk exam (CRP Clerk) for hiring candidates will be held online. The IBPS CRP CLERK exam will be in two parts: Preliminary and Mains. The IBPS CRP CLERK written test would be objective ONLINE as detailed below-

IBPS CRP Clerks Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online CRP Clerk Main examination.
IBPS CRP CLERKS Mains Examination

The above CRP Clerk tests except the Tests of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e., English and Hindi.

PENALTY FOR WRONG ANSWERS (Applicable to both – IBPS CRP Clerks Preliminary and Main examination)
Penalty for Wrong Answers: There is a penalty for wrong answers marked in both the preliminary examination as well as mains examination. A wrong answer to an objective question will lead to a penalty of one-fourth of the total mark assigned to that question. There will be no penalty for the question left blank or unanswered.
Final Score Calculation for IBPS Clerk Exam:-
The final score for the IBPS Clerk exam is calculated keeping the following points in mind:
• Marks obtained in the Preliminary Exam (Phase-1) will not be considered for final selection.
• Candidates must qualify Phase 2 to be eligible for final merit.
• The aggregate score out of 100 is used for the final merit list for each category. Candidates with top merit rank in each category are finally selected.
STANDARDIZED SCORES
The corrected scores obtained by each of the candidates will further be converted into standardized scores following Linear Conversion Method.
IBPS CRP Clerks CUTOFF SCORE
Each IBPS CRP Clerks candidate will have to secure a minimum standardized score in each of the tests to qualify in the written examination and to be considered for vacancies in the participating banks. The cut-off points will be decided based on the average (Average – ¼ Standard Deviation for General category candidates and Average – ¾ Standard Deviation for Reserved Category candidates).
IBPS CRP Clerks SCORE CARD
IBPS will print the Score Cards for each of the qualifying candidates only and will send the same by Registered/ Speed post to each candidate at the correspondence address specified in his/ her online application.
VALIDITY OF IBPS CRP Clerks SCORE CARD
Score Cards issued by IBPS will be valid for one year from the date of issue of the Score Card. Candidates can appear in subsequent examination(s) to enhance their scores if they so desire.
