PNB SO PAY SCALE: Scale of Pay are as follows 

DA, CCA, HRA/leased accommodation, Leave Fare Concession, Medical Insurance, retirement benefits and other perquisites shall be as per Bank rules. 

The number of PNB SO vacancies/reserved vacancies is provisional and may vary according to the actual requirement of the PNB Bank. The reservation also includes the backlog of reserved vacancies. Please note that the reservation in respect of different posts in each scale will be as decided by the bank. 

PNB SO ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA : 

NATIONALITY/ CITIZENSHIP :
A candidate must be either i) a Citizen of India or ii) a subject of Nepal or iii) subject of Bhutan or iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or   v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries  of Kenya, Uganda, The United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.   

A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary, may be admitted to the examination/interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection, the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate issued to him by the Government of India is submitted to the bank.  

B) Age, Educational Qualification and Post Qualification Work Experience Required for PNB Specialist Officers (SO) Exam (As on 01/01/2024): 

POST : Officer Credit

Age : Min. - 21 years ; Max. 28 years

Educational Qualification : A. Chartered Accountant(CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/Cost Management Accountant- CMA (ICWA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India

OR

B. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from CFA Institute (USA).

OR

C. Full-time MBA or Postgraduate Diploma in Management or similar with a specialty in Finance from any Institute/College/University recognized/approved by government bodies/AICTE/UGC with a minimum of 60% or equivalent grade.

Desirable:-Work Experience in Bank(s)/ FI(s). 

POST : Manager Forex 

Age : Min. - 25 years ; Max. 35 years

Educational Qualification : Full-time MBA or Postgraduate Diploma in Management or similar with a specialty in Finance from any Institute/College/University recognized/approved by government bodies/AICTE/UGC with a minimum of 60% or equivalent grade.

Desirable:- Certificate courses in Forex offered by FEDAI, IIBF, NIBM, or any other reputed institute will be preferred.

Post Qualification  Experience :- Mandatory: Minimum 2 years experience as an Officer in the related field

Educational Work: Desirable: Forex related experience in banks

POST : Manager Cyber Security 

Age : Min. - 25 years ; Max. 35 years

Educational Qualification : Full time degree in B.E./ B.Tech in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics and Communications Engineering 
Or 
Full time M.C.A. from any Institute/ College/ University recognized/ approved by Govt. bodies/ AICTE/ UGC with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.

Desirable: Full time degree in M.Tech in Computer Science/ Information Technology /Electronics and Communications Engineering from any Institute/ College/ University recognized/ approved by Govt. bodies/ AICTE/ UGC

At least one of the following certifications: 
a. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) 
b. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA SECURITY) 
c. Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE) 
d. Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)

Post : Senior Manager Cyber Security :-

Age : Min. - 27 years ; Max. 38 years

Educational Qualification :Full time degree in B.E./ B.Tech in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics and Communications Engineering Or Full time M.C.A. from any Institute/ College/ University recognized/ approved by Govt. bodies/ AICTE/ UGC with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.

PNB Specialist Officers (SO) Exam Candidates can apply online only from 07.02.2024 to 25.02.2024 and no other mode of application will be accepted  

PNB Specialist Officers (SO) Exam SELECTION PROCEDURE :
Selection will be through PNB Specialist Officers (SO) online test and/or interview.
The PNB Specialist Officers (SO) online test shall comprise of the following tests :
Reasoning
English Language
Quantitative Aptitude
Professional Knowledge (Relevant to the Post) 

HOW TO APPLY PNB SPECIALIST OFFICERS (SO) APPLICATION FORM:- The candidates can apply only for one post.
Candidates can apply online only from 22.04.2022 to 27.05.2022 and no other mode of application will be accepted.
I. Candidates are required to apply Online through website www.pnbindia.in.

PNB SO Application Fee /Intimation/Postal Charges (Non-refundable) :
SC/ST/PWBD category candidates Rs.50 + 18% GST =59/- per candidate (only postage charges)
General/OBC/EXSM category candidates Rs.1000 + 18% GST =1180/- per candidate.  

Mode of PNB SO Exam Payment :
i. Candidates have to make the payment of requisite fee/intimation charges through ONLINE mode only.
ii. Candidates have the option of remitting fees via ONLINE MODE only, where the application form is  integrated with the payment gateway and the payment process can be completed by following the instructions.
iii. The payment can be made using only Debit Cards RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards,  Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets by providing information as asked on the screen.
iv. On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt would be generated.  

CALL LETTERS FOR THE PNB SO ON-LINETEST : The date of the PNBS SO On-line Test will be intimated in the PNB Specialist Officers (SO) Call Letter along with the Centre/Venue for the Examination, well in advance of the date of the PNB Specialist Officers (SO) Online Examination.

PNB Specialist Officers (SO) Candidates are advised to note that if selected, they will be required to execute an Indemnity Bond with surety for serving the Bank for a specified period, as below. In case he/she resigns from or leaves/abandons the service and /or neglectsin performance of the duty assigned to him/ her leading to termination of his/her service as per rules/ regulations by the Bank before the specified period, he/she will indemnify the bank upto the extent of bond amount, for all losses, costs, charges and expenses. PNB Specialist Officers (SO) Selected officers shall execute the indemnity bond before joining the Bank.
